Based in London, Itamar Lapidot is an Israeli born, multi instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and engineer whose career spans continents and genres. Studying audio engineering at Blackbird Studios in Nashville under the tutelage of industry giants like Mark Rubel, Kevin Becka, and John McBride gives Itamar unparalleled foundation in the technical aspects of music production. This, combined with his innate musical talent, infuses a versatile, exciting, and a unique pop aesthetic to his work.
Most recently Itamar's involvement with the band "bby," recognised as one of Zane Lowe's ones to watch on Apple Music, highlights his ability to collaborate with emerging talent. He’s written with global artists such as Perrie Edwards and Raye as well as rising talent such as Beaux, Atticus Blue, Ignacio Arocena, Jo Hill, and Aimei, and many others. Through collaboration his music has been championed by Spotify on their Fresh Finds, New Music Friday and various other editorial playlists.
Taking inspiration through his global background Itamar’s music draws from genres such as Pop, Country, Latin, Rock, Jazz and R&B. This has allowed him to expand his reach and successfully work on international music pitches for the East Asian and Middle Eastern music markets, bridging cultural divides through music and collaboration.
